The stated objectives of the Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants (ACCA).
To provide an umbrella, which shall be national in scope, for Accountants, Treasurers and Finance Officers in government, Ministries, Parastatals, Corporations, Commercial, Public bodies, Local Government and other industrial organisations.
To enhance knowledge and efficiency in Accountancy practice both in public or private practice, industry and other spheres of the national economy.
To promote professional competence in the practice of the profession and the conduct of members, based on ethical standards.
To contribute its quota nationally and internationally to the science of Accountancy and the profession.
To encourage freedom of association cum freedom of expression for accountants as enshrined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants (ACCA) provides national and international umbrella for professional accountants, dedicated to the highest standards of the profession.
